Down on one knee

I have recently learned that one should never say they would never do something. Because given the right moment and the right circumstance, that one never will I ever becomes part of your life. I've learned that we don't really know how we will react in situations or how certain things will even make us feel untill we are fully emursed in them ourselves. There are tons of for instances as of late that I could share as am example but the one I wish to share is the story of my engagement. First of all WHAT???? There's a I never right there, but love swooped in and I finally learned what it really felt like and it has turned a lot of I'll nevers into sure I'm down for that.. When Hein and I first started dating we both let each other know we weren't looking for a relationship, soon after we were in a relationship, then we both agreed marriage was overrated, then one day we discussed our future and decided it was what we wanted. After talking about the possibility of becoming engaged he asked how do I propose? I will never get down on one knee he said, I replied well you don't have to dear, just do it Hein style... Well on December 24th we were on the way to Christmas Eve dinner at my aunts house, and we decided to stop by Grammys house first to drop off our things. He gave Grammy the cookies he brought her from Holland, then he reached in his bag pulled out the ring box and looked at my Grammy and said with your permission I would like to give Jennifer the ring in this box and ask her to be my wife. She shook her head yes and down on one knee he went... It was a very sweet moment and I love him more then I ever knew I could love. So moral to my thought about how the never Evers often become the oh oks, is that I'm kind of glad that life isn't predictable and neither are we. It's when we are put In different situations that we find ourselves, when we actually discover how we truely fell. I've found that some of the things I've said I'd never do but then did ended up being some of the best decision I've ever made. I just laughed at myself cause there are some I'll never we should stick to. Like never kill anyone and never smoke crack, drugs are bad etc.. Hahaha..
